The Těšín Beskydy mountains are a paradise for winter sports enthusiasts, with a wide range of downhill slopes, cross-country and snowboarding facilities.
The region’s ski resorts are pleasantly small and relaxed, with several ski-lifts and excellent facilities – plus some rewarding downhill pistes. The resorts are ideal for families with children, but more proficient skiers will enjoy the challenge of the toughest downhill run in the Beskydy mountains, at Řeka. Lovers of cross-country skiing will find a wealth of possibilities here, with over 100 km of marked, well-tended trails catering for all age groups and levels of ability – including families with young children.
After a wonderful day spent enjoying the great outdoors, why not warm up at one of the region’s many swimming pools, saunas or other wellness centres.
